  Go. Win. Baptize. Teach. The Great Commission given by our Saviour has never been altered. So many times the “teach” has been neglected or forgotten. Surmountable difficulties have caused others to not take Christ at His word when he promised, “…lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” We are excited about the opportunities that will be possible through the Northern Kentucky Bible Institute.

Practical Survey of the Scriptures

  ...is designed to give a general Biblical overview in content and doctrine. 20 lessons cover a basic survey of the Old and New Testaments. 12 lessons highlight major doctrines of the Bible. These courses are intended to give the lay members of a church a good Biblical foundation and a better understanding of the Bible to aid in future Bible study. Lay workers in any ministry of the church will find an opportunity for spiritual growth through this course.

The Basic Bible Doctrines Course

.....is designed to give an overview of essential doctrines of the Christian faith in 13 lessons.

The Bible Foundations Course

  ... covers core principles of the Christian life such as baptism, prayer, etc. It will provide instruction which will help a young Christian to become grounded in key areas. This foundation will help them to “buy in” to the mission of the local church. As a new Christian learns and follows God’s instruction in these vital concepts, he will be poised to take the next steps in the journey of fulfilling God’s will for his life.

Nursery Worker Training Course

The Nursery course gives instruction on principles and practices in regard to child care in a church ministry. The instructor, Mrs. Gail Merhalski, is a graduate of Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina and has continued her education at the University of Chicago. She earned her Doctor of Religious Education from Carolina Baptist College in 1995. She has had oversight of the nurseries of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana for nearly four decades and shares her philosophy and organizational skills in a straightforward and helpful manner.
